lulu b. is a gender queer (they/she/he) brazilian-american artist from the east village, new york city. raised by artists, lulu b. grew up surrounded by beautiful things. their art touches on queerness, disability, migration, intergenerational trauma and recovery. her writings have been published in The Sun Magazine, The Huffington Post, and The Guardian. He now lives on the traditional homeland of the council of the three fires comprised of the ojibwe, odawa, and potawatomi peoples, colonized as chicago, IL. when not doodling with paint markers or writing to unearth, he can be found playing video games, pulling tarot, and snuggling their fierce cat, caqui. on weekdays, she lawyers for a world without police or prisons.
